First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Target Group Limited.
Engineering
The process was a month long and included a screening round where they asked about my experience, salary expectations, and current job. Then there was a technical round with basic questions and RPG experience questions. Finally, an HR round for background verification.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What are your salary expectations?
- What is your current role?
Program Manager
The interview was confrontational and inappropriate questions were asked. I was asked if I would breach my current contract. When I said no, the interviewer pressed why and then became dismissive. It was a negative experience and I wouldn't apply again.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deliver unfavorable news to a stakeholder?
- Would you be willing to break the terms of your existing contract?
- What are your reasons for not breaching the terms of your current contract?
Complaints Executive
A third-party recruiter handled the initial hiring. While there were some organizational hiccups between the agency and the company's HR, the welcome on the day was warm. Around eight of us sat together and watched a video about the company. We then moved to separate rooms for interviews, which were quite informal. Two interviewers took notes and asked competency-based questions. They were reassuring and welcoming. There was also a task involving writing a letter to a customer responding to their complaint, which was pretty straightforward.
- Can you describe a situation where you dealt with a complaint?
- Please draft a response letter to a customer's complaint.
Project Manager
I spoke with 3 people on the interview panel: Head of Project Management, Head of Consultancy, and an HR advisor. The interview questions were focused on my competency for the role and my previous applicable experience. I was asked to talk about my suitability for the role and give examples of projects I had managed. We also discussed particular experience of on-boarding projects and implementations. The interview was an hour long and also included negotiation of benefits and salary.
- Can you walk me through an example of a complex project you managed from beginning to end?
