First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TAPS.
Crisis Intervention Specialist
It was easygoing and I felt supported! I did not feel anxious or like I couldn’t ask questions. Probably one of the best interviews I had! This is an amazing program
- Tell me about your experience helping others or any volunteer work you've done.
Survivor Associate
The interview process was quite long, taking weeks to months to get an offer. I spoke with HR first, then the department. It didn't take up much of my time though, maybe 1-2 hours total.
- What makes you want to join TAPS?
Manager
Most of the interview process was in-person, as they were resistant to online interviews. It was a straightforward and timely process. You meet the founder early on before anything else happens. The HR part of the process feels old and needs an update.
- Could you start by walking me through your resume?
- Tell me about a time you had to handle a conflict.
Caseworker
The hiring process was very efficient and straight forward. If you are qualified for the position you should no issues with the questions. They do a good job explaining all the benefits as well so you are completely informed on making decisions.
- How would you manage different situations with families who are in various stages of grief?
