Great interview experience overall. The team was respectful but challenging. They asked a range of questions, from basic SQL and Python to more in-depth topics like ML ranking, file formats (like parquet), and database design. I appreciated the timely and honest feedback. After the offer, the team was open to further discussions. Surendra and Situo seem like fantastic colleagues. The offer was extended on Friday, but HR's follow-up on Monday was surprisingly slow. I declined the offer due to the requirement to relocate to Boston, which I wasn't ready for, and a belief that I could secure better compensation elsewhere.

I had an initial phone screen with the sales manager that went well. They asked basic questions about my background and what I knew about Tapjoy. Then, I had a call with a member of the sales team in SF to understand the day-to-day. Next, I was supposed to meet the Director of Sales in Santa Barbara for an in-person meeting, but she was late from lunch. I met with two managers who asked very basic questions that were already covered in the first call. The meeting lasted about an hour and I left feeling confident. It's been almost two months and I haven't heard back despite sending thank you emails and two follow-ups.

Armada reached out via LinkedIn and they were great communicators throughout. Started with a basic phone screen that included some light technical questions. Then, I was invited for an on-site interview that was half a day. It involved meeting with different teams and concluded with a 25-minute "white-board talk" that I led, followed by a Q&A. The questions were pretty standard, with a few interesting ones mixed in. The people were great, friendly, and professional, and they were open about solutions. I heard back soon after with good feedback and a follow-up call. It was a really good interview experience overall!

So basically applied online and then about a month later, the recruiter reached out. A week after that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then about two weeks later, I had an on-site with the analytic, engineering and marketing teams. It's been 3 months since the on-site now. The recruiter updated me a month ago saying things were looking good and I was still being considered. Good thing I got a better offer to think about.
