It was a long interview process with 3 rounds: an HR round, a knowledge-based round, and a final round to assess cultural fit. The interviews were conducted over Google Meet, but I attended on my phone. The whole experience was good and informative, lasting around 30 minutes.

I went for an in-person interview and got the job on the spot. I was supposed to get an email with details about orientation and start dates but didn't hear back for 6 weeks. The person who finally reached out didn't immediately provide info on starting pay, full-time hours, or relocation. They initially offered "pre-season" work to help me transition, but then said I couldn't do it because I was a first-year employee. I was told I'd be a full-time employee starting in early December, but didn't actually start full-time work until Christmas. This left me with a financial gap and made it hard to find a place to live. I was also expected to attend three days of unpaid orientation. It was a horrible experience.

I talked about what it takes to be a good ski instructor, the commitment and skills needed. I shared my past ski instruction experience and my preference for teaching children of specific ages. They explained the facilities and what to expect. I spoke with two ski directors and told them similar things. It was a relaxed vibe, but busy during holidays like Christmas and Spring Break. The job involves skiing a lot, but the pay isn't great; you get paid in powder snow.

It was a chill and personal interview. They didn't ask any weird questions not directly related to the job. They were super clear about the hours and where the place is located at the ski resort. Also told me about benefits like lift passes.
