First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tantus Technologies.
Consultant
I was contacted by a recruiter. After a phone screen, I had another phone interview with the project team. I rejected another offer to seriously consider this role at Tantus. The interview itself felt promising. However, I never received any feedback, and the recruiter didn't reply to two follow-up emails I sent asking for an update. This was definitely the worst recruiter experience I've had. You reached out to me, so you should have the courtesy to follow up and close the loop professionally. This is a prime example of why people dislike recruiters.
- In what ways would you implement change management principles relevant to this position?
Cyber Security Analyst
It was a 3 step interview process. First was a preliminary interview with the recruiter, which was a pleasant and very professional experience. Second was a conference call interview that was technical and behavioral. The final interview was with the client and was more in depth to see if my background was a good fit for the project. Overall, it was a solid and seamless recruitment process.
- Describe how you've resolved cybersecurity issues in previous roles and how you'd approach similar challenges in this organization.
Proposal Manager
The interview was very organized and technical. The office was nice and modern, located near the Rosslyn Metro. After checking in with a virtual receptionist, I met with a sharp and candid Sr. executive. She answered my strategic questions well and gave honest insights about working at HQ and operations. I had prepared research and analysis, which she reviewed point-by-point, offering detailed explanations. It's clear this company values passion and can detect insincerity. They are serious about their brand and reputation, so questions about quality control are as critical as technical skills. The CEO also spoke with me briefly, emphasizing the two-way nature of the interview and my right to information. It was an energetic and engaging experience.
- How do you handle changing priorities and deadlines during the proposal creation process?
Systems Engineer Lead
The interview process was good overall, but it felt longer than it needed to be. They could have had multiple interviewers meet with candidates at the same time instead of doing it one by one.
- Can you tell me about some of the work you've done?
