First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tanner.
Accountant
You can apply while you're still in school. The first interview is either on campus or virtual with a partner. After that, you'll come to the office to meet more of the team.
- Do you plan on getting your CPA license?
Audit Intern
The interview process was great, I really felt like they wanted to get to know me as a person and not just as a number. They asked meaningful questions that also gave me an idea of their company values and culture.
- What are your expectations for this internship?
Administrative Assistant
We had an initial phone call, then a virtual meeting, and finally an in-office interview. Everyone I met was nice and professional. It did take a bit longer than I would have liked to get a response back.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult situation involving your manager or boss.
Audit Staff
Had a quick interview and then they offered to bring me in for more interviews at the office. It was a weird interview though. I got a strange vibe from the interviewer, so much so that I didn't want to move forward. He discussed some topics that probably weren't okay for an interview.
- Tell me about the most difficult experience you've ever had in your life and what you did about it.
