Had 3 interview screenings: the first was a phone call, the second was a zoom call, and the third was in person. I met with 2 HR people and the department manager for the role.

I applied online and then got a call for a phone screen within a few days, it wasn't scheduled. After that, I was asked to come for an interview in Santa Fe Springs with the HR Director who did the phone interview. My job experience was almost exactly what they were looking for, so I had all the skills they needed. The questions were tough and they were really thorough. The office itself is beautiful, kind of warehouse-like but with a modern, hipster feel. When we got to talking about salary, I think I was asking for more than they were offering, and maybe that's why my candidacy stopped there. They walked me out and said they were in the early stages of interviewing, so it would take some time to get back to me. It's been about a month now with no reply, and I even sent a thank you note after the interview, but still no follow-up. I really loved the place, so I'm hoping to hear back soon, and it's not just about the salary.

They had me come in for three long interviews. The last one was with a bunch of people from the department, which was super stressful with everyone watching. They also had me do this really long personality test. After all that, I had to wait a whole month, and then they hit me with 'sorry, we're pausing hiring until we figure out our 2018 sales projections and will look at your application then.' Total BS, and they never called back. Felt like a huge waste of my time. I definitely don't recommend this company, they're so indecisive and just mess with people's time.

The interview process felt excessively long. Initially, I thought the four in-person interviews showed the company's commitment to finding the right fit. However, after three one-hour interviews with various team members and providing references, I was given online tests that took about two hours to complete (personality, proofreading, numbers, etc.). This was followed by a final interview with the president. These tests were the breaking point for me, making me feel my time wasn't valued. Although the people I met seemed friendly, I started questioning how management would treat employees' time if they didn't prioritize it during the hiring process. My suggestion to management is to consolidate some of the interviews to avoid multiple callbacks. If testing is essential, administer it at the beginning of the process, as it felt out of place after already investing three hours.
