Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tangoe.
Software Engineer
I interviewed at Tangoe for an SE role. The technical interviews were at an intermediate level. The process had two technical rounds and one round that combined managerial and technical aspects. My first technical round went so well that the second technical interview was skipped, and I proceeded directly to the managerial round. Unfortunately, I wasn't shortlisted after the managerial round, and I'm not sure why. I really felt I was a good fit for the role.
- Were there any difficult questions?
Software Engineer
The interview process was smooth and excellent. It had three rounds: a technical round, a managerial round, and an HR round. The technical round focused on the technologies listed on my resume. I had a great interactive session with the manager. The HR round involved basic questions and salary discussions.
- Questions about Core Java
- Questions about Java Collections
- Questions about Spring Boot
Software Engineer
First round was an online test with objective questions and core Java programming questions, including writing code for some problems. The second round was a face-to-face interview focusing on core Java concepts like strings, collections, threading, design patterns, and SQL queries. The third round was also technical, primarily asking about projects. The fourth round was a basic HR discussion.
