First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Human Resources Business Partner
Initially, I had two phone screens. The interviewers were very kind, but I found it hard to get answers to my questions. The questions were general, and it was just the beginning of the process. In the end, I decided not to move forward.
- What strengths would you bring to the company?
IT
Things started off great, no HR involved, just the manager. But then, crickets. I sent two emails about my application status and never heard back, not even to know if I was still in the running. After two whole months, I finally got an email saying they picked someone else. It was a total pain, they really could have communicated better.
- What makes you the best choice over other applicants?
Player
It was pretty much a recruiting thing, like dinners and tours. Different staff members met with a bunch of recruited free agents to chat. Then we got to talk one-on-one and ask questions. The whole thing felt pretty straightforward and good overall. Tampa's weather is hot, but it's nice and the area is pretty affordable.
- How familiar are you with the team's philosophy?
Training Camp Assistant
The interview process was very smooth, especially since I didn't live in Florida. The team was really accommodating given my situation. They were fast and professional when answering my questions. They worked with my schedule, and the team was super helpful in picking me up.
