First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Talon Outdoor.
Product Manager
The interview process was pretty standard and straightforward. It started with a quick chat with HR, followed by a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager. Then, there was a 1-hour interview with the hiring manager and their boss. The conversations felt more like discussions than interrogations, which was nice. I didn't get the job, and I don't quite agree with their reasoning, but that's probably specific to my situation.

- Regarding your last role, what was your process for developing the product strategy?
Software Engineer
This was a terrible interview experience. The interviewer was really rude, didn't seem to know what they were doing, and the whole thing was super awkward and a total waste of my time. It felt like they weren't even sure what position I was interviewing for and were very confused.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to overcome a challenge?
FP&A Analyst
After the initial interviews, the second round was scheduled and it seemed like everything was set. I joined the Teams call 10 minutes early just to be safe, but the interviewer never showed up. I sent multiple emails to Talon and the first round interviewer asking for an update or an explanation, but I was completely ignored. Sadly, I have to say the interview process was awful, and I can only guess what the company culture might be like based on this experience.
- Tell me about your present job and how it applies to this position.
Account Manager
The interview process felt unnecessarily intense, and the people involved came across as unfriendly, making it seem like not a nice place to work. The interviewer asked questions that were too intense and didn't seem relevant. The overall energy was very negative, which put me off the idea of working there.
