I was reached out through LinkedIn by one member of Talon. One’s talent team asking if I would be interested in the position. I had a first interview and a panel interview, had to constantly reach out to her, had no reply for days, kept receiving messages postponing the date of feedback and in the end got an email with excuses for this awful candidate experience. Being in TA myself, I can say that being swamped with work is no excuse for such unprofessional behavior and disrespect to a candidate’s time and availability. If you are going to treat my application with such indifference, why reaching out to me in the first place?

It was OK, people I met were very nice and knew what they were looking for. The first interview was a general call with someone from HR about my experience and how much I understood their product. The second interview was with a recruiter and People Lead, and it covered recruitment strategies, time management, and project management skills. The last interview was with the rest of the HR team focusing on culture topics. At the end of the process, which took about 3 weeks, they decided that they needed a different role and closed the headcount.

The process was quick and went well. Everyone I spoke with was ready for their part and showed they had professionalism and personality that made me want to work there. I'm really happy to have met everyone and to join this awesome team.
