I applied by emailing my resume on a Tuesday or Wednesday late at night. They called me the next day and then sent an email confirming the interview for the following Monday. They asked me to bring work samples, and I also had to create a Canvas account and an ePortfolio. If you do this, I'd suggest having someone else test it beforehand so you can access it on their computers during the interview. One 5-minute sample was sufficient. Four people were on the panel and asked questions sequentially. The questions were about instructional design skills and experiences related to academic staff and faculty. The interview lasted an hour. They concluded by explaining the hiring process, timeline, pay, and hours. I anticipated hearing back later that week. The next steps involved an in-system HR application and some initial forms. Once the background check cleared, employment could begin.

Behavioral Technical

The interview felt cold and unwelcoming. They kept asking in different ways if I had the skills for the job, and I kept giving the same answer differently. They asked a lot about my management experience and emphasized how much work the position requires. I answered everything, explaining I had no other jobs to distract me and that I'd started events and community programs in previous roles, which let me offer more than they needed. I suspect because I wasn't an internal candidate they already knew, my chances of a fair consideration were slim. It felt like the interview wasn't genuine.
