The interview process involved a few technical rounds and also a really annoying and time-consuming take-home project. The engineers were generally nice, but they didn't give much feedback during the take-home project review meeting. I was later told I didn't get the job because of 'the code,' even though the code review meeting hardly offered any specific feedback, aside from pointing out a typo. It was a massive waste of my time.

The interview process was quite a time sink. First, there was a phone screen, and then an in-person part with six different interviewers that took up most of the afternoon. It was a really strange experience; the interviewers seemed super stressed, one was agitated and kept drumming his hands, and three didn't seem to have even looked at my resume or prepared any questions. A lot of them talked up their company's "hero culture," which struck me as a major red flag and something they need to fix if they want to grow. After all that, I never heard back from them, not even a reply to my thank you emails. HR really dropped the ball on making a good impression on candidates who put in the effort.
