First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Take Command Health.
Manager
The interview process involves 3 interviews and wraps up in a couple of weeks. It's really nice to connect with people from different parts of the company, not just the person you'd report to.
- Can you provide an example of a situation?
Technical Sales Operations Analyst
I applied online via LinkedIn and got an email the next day to schedule a preliminary Zoom call. The second round involved an Excel case study and a Zoom call with my potential manager. They had some link issues which caused delays, but I stayed flexible. The case study itself wasn't difficult, though it felt like a way to get free feedback. I didn't receive the actual link for the second interview and they emailed me about it on the day of, a few minutes after it was supposed to start, acting like it was my fault. Even though it wasn't, I'm sure they faulted me for their poor communication. The final part would have been another Zoom call with peers, which I don't think is necessary. It was a reminder to never do case studies or free work in an interview. The second interviewer even said something like, 'Oh well you’re not the first to do that maybe we should update the instructions,' which made me feel like they had no intention of hiring me from the start. They've interviewed so many people and wasted their time, I doubt they'll ever find someone!
- Why did you apply for this position?
- Can you tell me about a company you own?
Customer Success Manager
So I applied for a CSM role at Take Command Health. I was excited because they're innovative. I had two interviews with senior managers and felt like I connected well and was a good fit. But after the second interview, they ghosted me. I sent a thank you and followed up twice, but nothing. It was super disappointing since the interviews went well. This whole experience with their hiring process makes me feel negative about the company. It's not professional to treat candidates like this. It makes me wonder how they treat employees and clients. Just a heads up to others, be careful about applying here because of their communication issues.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a challenging customer interaction?
Operations Support Specialist
I had 3 virtual interviews total, with an employee referral. It took less than two weeks from application to offer. The first interview was a casual HR screening to get to know me, explain the role, and check my interest. The second interview was more standard with behavioral questions like 'tell me about a time...' or 'how would you act...', and would include technical questions/whiteboarding for more technical roles. I struggled with one question but the interviewer was helpful. The third interview was short (15 mins) and seemed like another casual HR check to confirm before offering, allowing me to ask final questions. It felt like it could have been combined with the second or skipped. I got the offer letter the same day.
- Describe a challenging coworker or work situation you faced and how you successfully navigated it.
