Application Intern
The interviewer was 25 minutes late for our scheduled interview because she was in a meeting. I tried to reach out to the HR person who connected us but didn't hear back. When the interviewer finally joined the call, we rescheduled for later that day, but she was late again due to another meeting.
- How do you perform in a fast-paced environment?
QC Analyst
This was a typical interview for a quality control position. It involved a sensory test where I had to associate flavors with chemicals and descriptors, and also basic taste identification. Following that, I had interviews with both the manager and the HR manager.
- How do you think you would adapt to a new work environment?
Key Account Manager
The interview process was a complete waste of time. They called me to their head office in Chennai, which is a two-hour drive from the airport. They also asked for my past salary slips before the interview, which felt untrustworthy. If they are only looking for candidates who have managed specific accounts, why the long process with travel? They could just state their preference for candidates with experience managing those particular accounts. For someone on a career break, they made me wait and didn't even have the courtesy to provide feedback after the interview. The team operates in a very isolated and small manner in Chennai/South.
- How would you approach selling flavor to Britannia?
HR Generalist
First, there was a screening interview, around 15-20 minutes. Then I went to the site. I first interviewed with the Plant Manager for about 30 minutes and then met with the HR Director for about an hour. My last interview was remote, and I spoke with the Talent Acquisition Director.
- Could you share an example of a time you handled conflict?
- Describe a situation where you had to influence someone.
- Tell me about a time you introduced a shortcut or initiated a process improvement.
