It was an extensive interview process with multiple people onsite. However, they ghost you and never give you an answer, regardless of you reaching out. So you don’t ever find out if you are rejected and also never get feedback on the interview. Majority of the people that will interview you tend to be nice and professional. There are some people that are standoffish and will look at you as if you’re wasting your time. HR is also very stern - if you give them a reasoning behind why you’re asking for the higher end of a salary, they will ask you “why you deserve it?” and when you provide a reasoning, will counter it with their reasoning. They really hone in on communication being their biggest desire, BUT they are terrible at communication. I think it’s unprofessional to expect someone to take hours out of their day to come interview, because lots of people come interview while having existing jobs, and they just GHOST YOU.

Had a phone interview that was pretty quick and easy, mostly about my background. Didn't need much prep beyond knowing my resume. Then, an in-person interview that lasted 4 hours and involved meeting with 8 different people. This part required more preparation and covered things like work experience, collaboration, and my 5-year plan. It included a mix of standard questions and some tougher ones about how I'd contribute if I got the job.

The first round was with the hiring manager, where I mentioned my need for sponsorship, and they said they'd discuss it with HR. The following week, I had a second round with a senior employee who described the job as very repetitive and boring, involving a lot of Excel work. I was then informed about a third, on-site interview. The day before this on-site, I emailed HR to confirm my situation and whether the interview would proceed. I took time off work and traveled to their office, only to be told by HR that the interview would not happen because I only had one chance to join on an H1B. I had taken time off and traveled to their office, and the team didn't even want to meet me.

I saw the job posting on a job/careers website and applied online on the company's website. I got an email a week later from the hiring manager to set up a phone interview. I replied fast and the phone interview was set for a week later. They started by telling me about the company. Then asked me basic interview questions. The phone call was 30 minutes. At the end, they mentioned they were interviewing others and I would get an update on whether I would be invited for an in person interview. I followed up 2 weeks later by email to check on my application status. I got an email right away saying that I was not selected for the job.
