Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty standard interview for a tech company, mostly asking about my past work, my skills, what I can contribute, and how I can help the company expand. They also wanted examples of how I've handled customers before.

It was hard to understand. They tell you direct hire gets all your personal info, then don't call you back. If you get voicemail from a recruiter, it says what app to use. It seems sketchy they didn't tell me the employer name. I just think it seems scummy now.

I met with the manager who asked me about my background and specific examples from schoolings. They were interested in whether my education or prior experience would be applicable. I explained that I didn't have the exact experience they were looking for but I was open to training. The people I met were positive and always smiling, very friendly.

The interview wasn't really an interview. I was taken around the office to “talk" to people who worked there, but they mostly talked at me. It felt like nobody knew I was coming, so they didn't know what to say. I wasn't asked about myself or have to answer anything; it was more like they were giving me information about the company instead of wanting to know about me. Then, I got to talk to the president, but he was busy and didn't have much time. He asked me one question, and then I left. I expected to hear back about the job after the interview, but they never contacted me. The whole thing was a waste of time.
