First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tahoe Forest Health System.
Business Intelligence Developer
I had an initial interview with the technical team, and they were all really nice. They asked me about my past jobs and projects. Near the end, they mentioned that if they found other candidates who performed similarly, I might have another round of interviews.

HR Benefits Specialist
I was contacted by a recruiter on Indeed for an HR-Benefits role. I applied right away and asked some questions about the job. The recruiter didn't reply on Indeed for 5 days, so I emailed them directly, and again waited another 5 days with no response before emailing a second time. They finally set up a quick phone interview which went well, and they said they'd schedule a follow-up with the hiring managers soon. A week later, I still hadn't heard back, so I emailed them again. When that didn't work, I emailed a third time because I noticed the job posting was closed and there was no update on my application. The position was then reposted, so I reapplied and let the recruiter know. They finally responded, saying the job requirements had changed and they couldn't remember what I'd said about my experience in the first interview. I replied with a detailed explanation of my background, but they gave an unclear response, just repeating that the job expectations had changed. They never officially rejected me. I had to chase them for replies multiple times, they changed what they were looking for after I thought the first interview went well, strung me along for over a month, and still haven't replied to my last email weeks ago. It's probably hard to hire people for an HR team when this recruiter is the first point of contact.

The whole interview process was really quick, just about a week. I met with a few people who asked me some standard interview questions. I got a call the same day I interviewed and they told me I got the job.
