First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TAFS.
Client Relationship Specialist
The interview process began with a phone call from HR, covering resume and experience details. I got a callback but couldn't attend the in-person interview initially. After some back and forth, I was able to come in for the first face-to-face interview, which was more about personality and felt like a relaxed conversation. Then, I had another interview with management, specifically the Department Manager and a Supervisor. This interview also felt great, like they were making me feel at home. They asked about my experience and some problem-solving questions, and it also turned into a conversation where they got to know me better. The company culture really impressed me. A few days after the management interview, I received an offer. This company seems to genuinely care about its employees being part of its growth.
- What does the word "noble" mean to you?
Sales Account Manager
The first and only interview was conducted by a junior to mid-level HR Representative. The questions were scripted and included standard interview questions, nothing too overwhelming. At the end, a typing test was administered. Ultimately, I was told I had 'too much management experience' and not enough 'sales experience'. Based on first-hand knowledge, it seems like whether you get a second interview depends on whether the junior HR 'professional' likes you or if you are 'pretty'. You move forward if you are 'liked,' not necessarily if you are experienced and qualified.
- Why are you the best candidate for this role?
Verification Specialist
It was pretty standard. They asked about your stance on cell phones - make sure to give them the answer they want to hear (no cell phones allowed in the workplace). There's also a typing test if they think you're a good fit. If you don't pass the test, don't expect to get the job. If they skip the test, count yourself lucky, because you probably don't want to work here anyway.
- How are your computer skills?
Verification Specialist
I arrived and was welcomed by everyone present. We sat down and discussed my background and my grasp of the company. They provided a detailed overview of the company and the role I was applying for. Following this, there was a typing test.
- Can you describe how you handle conflict?
- How do you manage multiple tasks simultaneously?
