Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tactile Medical.
Sales Representative
The interview was pretty relaxed, but they asked about my resume and my medical sales background. I felt confident I had the skills and experience to move to the next interview, but I didn't get invited. Not sure why.
- What sales approach would you take with a prospective client?
Sales
The interview seemed to be going well until I mentioned being laid off, which seemed to cause the interviewer to judge me. She then ended the interview, stating they already had a candidate. It makes me wonder why she scheduled the call in the first place. It felt like a weird experience, but given how things are, it's probably for the best that this opportunity didn't work out. Being laid off doesn't really affect my confidence or self-worth, which might be different for her.
- Can you tell me about your job history?
- What was your GPA?
Sales Representative
It was a good interview process. Started with an HR interview, followed by a personality assessment. Then there was an RM interview, a ride-along to see the job in action, and finally a VP interview. The HR person was great at explaining everything and kept good communication throughout. They seemed to appreciate when I followed up and summarized our meetings and the interview steps.
- In what areas do you feel you need to develop?
