I was given a cup and asked to get a drink from their machine and wait because the person interviewing me was currently training someone. They asked me pretty standard questions. It was a 1-on-1 interview. We sat in the restaurant area proper because nobody else was there.
- How would you define excellent customer service?
Line Cook
It was pretty easy, actually easier than I thought it would be. Everyone was quite friendly when I first started. I ended up having my locations switched. I learned a lot of communication skills while working here, and you really become like family with your crew mates, which is a reason why I enjoyed working here.
- What makes you a great fit for this role?
Marketing Manager
The whole interview setup process was done via an AI assistant, so the only time I interacted with an actual human was during the phone interview. The lady who talked to me was cold and abrupt, and in retrospect, it felt more like a survey in which she was trying to get information out of me from my current marketing job. She said she would get back to me in a week about setting up an in-person interview, but I never heard back. Because of the AI assistant, I had no contacts to check in with.
- Can you describe the most successful marketing campaign you've encountered and explain your reasoning?
Crew Member
I called them and asked for the hiring manager, spoke with her about wanting to do an interview, which we set up for that same day. I went up there, asked for the hiring manager, then did a simple interview. The Director of Operations was also there and asked a few questions. No offer has been sent my way yet, but I feel like my chances are better this time.
- What is your availability?
- What does hospitality mean to you?
- Do you have reliable transportation?
