First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Taco Bueno.
Assistant General Manager
My interview wasn't very long. I really clicked with the district manager, and I had a lot of relevant work experience, so I felt pretty prepared and confident going into it. The questions were pretty straightforward, focusing on P&Ls, customer service, and general knowledge about running a fast food restaurant from my previous roles.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle a challenging customer and what steps you took?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer and how did you handle it?
- Describe your experience with P&Ls.
Shift Manager
It was a good interview, the interviewer was very nice and asked a lot of questions about how I would handle certain situations. They also asked about my availability for different shifts, including nights, and if I had reliable transportation. We discussed my pay expectations and my previous manager experience.
- What contributions can you make to this company?
- Describe how you would manage specific scenarios.
- Are you flexible with working different shifts?
Crew Member
I got a call for an interview. The manager who interviewed me had some issues and has since left the company. They asked some questions that are now illegal, about my age, gender, and religion. Aside from that, it was a normal interview. They asked about my past work experience, if I could work nights and weekends, and for examples of leadership from my everyday life.
- What's your previous job experience?
- Can you work weekends/nights?
- Give an example of leadership in your daily life.
Cashier
I applied online and then got an interview the very next day. They offered me the job the following week. I was so happy to get hired, and it's a great place to work!
- What days are you available to work?
