First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Systems Research.
Recruitment Consultant
Had a phone interview, then met with some of the senior staff. They really looked for driven, money-motivated people. The interviewers were nice and approachable, and they made an effort to connect. You need to show you're ready to work hard on the phone and learn quickly.
- What are things that motivate you?
Business Consultant
No pressing matter. The interview process is very laid back. Employer is trying to figure out whether you are the right person for the job. The whole ordeal is more of a conversation then an interrogation.
- What makes you believe you would be successful as a Business Consultant at SRI?
Sales Consultant
It was pretty open and direct. I talked with the branch Partner a few times before we even got to the interview stage. Then I met his senior teammate, followed by three different calls with three different partners. During each call, we chatted about my experience, my interest in SRI, some sales-related behavioral stuff, and my motivation. All the partners were really nice and professional. The last part was a good chat with the CEO. They made an offer pretty quickly after. We couldn't agree on the money, but I can say they have a quick and direct hiring process. If you're into a tough, competitive place with clear expectations, you should check them out.
- When have you hustled?
- What is your background?
- Why do you want to work at SRI?
Executive Recruiter
The first interview was a phone call, about 20-25 minutes long. After that, I was invited to their Schaumburg office. Their screening is pretty rigorous, especially since their team doesn't all have degrees. Basically, it's a sales role where you need the skills and drive to provide staffing on demand to companies. The interviewers were polite, but I felt a bit overqualified with my university degree. It could be a place to develop if you're good at sales.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Are you skilled in talent acquisition and sales?
- Are you familiar with our company's mission as a staff placement agency?
