First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SYSPRO.
Software Tester
First, you'll have a call with HR for a screening. Then, if you pass, you'll interview face-to-face with Test Managers. After that, there's a third interview where you'll give a presentation. Lastly, we'll do a final assessment to decide who to hire.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is negative testing?
Intern
So the whole thing started with like, a bunch of regular questions to see if you've got the background, how you solve stuff, and if you can talk to people. Then, you had to do this whole presentation thing, which was pretty detailed, to see how you talk, if you know your stuff, how you organize it, and if you can present it well to the people you're talking to.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a challenging circumstance?
Software Developer
There were three parts to the interview process. First, I had to complete an assessment at home. Then, I went to their office for another evaluation. Finally, I had a virtual interview.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What's your motivation for pursuing a career as a software developer?
- What are your hobbies or what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Financial Accountant
Offer was rescinded after I tried to negotiate base compensation by $3,000 and asked for a later start date. I had to go through 3 interview rounds and 1 prolonged, confusing assessment that took almost 2 hours on a weekend, involving math, graphics, logic, and personality questions. The overall recruitment timeline was long, from application in late June to finishing interviews and assessment mid-August. When I asked for a slightly higher salary and a later start date, the offer was immediately rescinded. This makes me doubt the integrity of their Americas finance team and their company culture, suggesting an old-fashioned, corporate environment not suited for finance in a tech company.
