I applied online and got a referral from a friend. A few weeks later, I got an email to schedule an interview. I met with four scientists who asked me some questions, then I got a tour. After that, I chatted with the supervisor and then met with HR for more questions and details about the company, operations, and pay. About two weeks later, I got a job offer over the phone and a formal description by email.

HR contacted me about an MBA intern position I applied for. A phone interview was set for the next week, but they never called. After I contacted the secretary, she apologized and rescheduled the phone interview with the hiring manager. The day before the rescheduled interview, I emailed HR to confirm. HR responded that it was postponed. I was eventually interviewed by the hiring manager, who said he'd be in touch in a week. Two weeks later, I got an email saying the entire position was removed and they weren't filling it.

I first connected with a recruiter at a SIMB conference. A few months later, when a relevant position opened up, I reached out to him via email. He then arranged a phone chat with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person interview a couple days after that.
