Renewals Manager
The interview process had 4 stages: an initial screening, a video call with the head of Customer Success, a presentation task, and then an in-person meeting. Donna, the recruiter, was super helpful and responsive. It was great getting to know the team, they all seemed really sharp and genuine. It was a bit of a bummer to get declined after putting in so much time and getting positive feedback, but that's how it goes sometimes. Overall, Synthesia seems like an inspiring place to work.

Proposal Manager
I got referred and applied. A recruiter contacted me about a week later, and we set up a Zoom screening call for a few days after. The recruiter was really nice. A few hours after our chat, I heard I was moving on to the next step, which was a task. I got the task the next day and sent it back a few days later after a holiday weekend. The recruiter said she'd let me know when she had an update. A week went by with no word, so I nudged the recruiter for news. Still nothing, so I reached out to my contact, and then the recruiter got back to me super fast. She said she didn't have updates yet but expected some by mid-next week. The following Wednesday, I found out I didn't make it. The first email was vague and seemed automated, so I contacted the recruiter directly. She gave me really helpful feedback about her end of the process and was super open. Most places don't share that, so I really appreciated it. Even though it didn't work out this time, I'll still watch their careers page for future openings.

Proposal Manager
Really good interview process. It had a few steps, starting with a screening chat with someone from TA to see if I was a good fit and had the right experience. Then, I had a more job-specific/technical interview with the hiring manager, followed by chats with the team I'd be working with. The final step involved a panel discussion with important people after I finished a take-home task. Everything was done online and took about 5-6 weeks, which felt pretty normal. Setting up interviews and communication was smooth and great. My main contact was super responsive and open, which was nice. Everyone I interacted with was professional, really seemed excited about their work, and genuinely wanted to figure out if I was a good match and if it was a good fit for me too.
- Can you detail your experience and suitability for this position?
- Please explain your thought process while completing the take-home assignment.
- What specifically interests you about this role and our company?
