First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Syntegon.
Project Coordinator
The process was pretty smooth. First there was a phone screen, and then another interview over Teams. After that, I had an in-person interview with a group of people I'd be working with. It was a good meeting, scheduled for an hour and finished on time. They also offered a tour of the building, which I took. The hiring decision was a bit delayed because of the holidays, but I was aware that might happen.
- Can you describe a time when you did something that caused friction with your colleagues?
UX Designer
The interview lasted for 1 hour and involved 3 interviewers. The atmosphere was good, and they explained a lot about the company and the job requirements. They also had a presentation about the company.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
- What's your motivation for wanting to work with us?
- In three words, how would you summarize yourself?
Project Manager
I started by introducing myself and going over my CV. Then there were questions about my professional experience and the projects I've worked on. We also had a conversation in English about a project example. They also explained the upcoming tasks for the position and introduced the company and the team.
Talent Acquisition Partner
I got contacted through an online portal via email, responded, and had two virtual interviews. It took almost three weeks to hear back, and even then, it was just an email asking if I was still interested. I replied yes, but then heard nothing. I was expecting some kind of follow-up conversation, I even asked for one. Weeks later, I finally got a rejection email. It was a really poor candidate experience overall, felt very impersonal and didn't reflect well on the company's brand. It gives talent acquisition a bad name when companies don't communicate well, especially for professional roles. Going through multiple interview rounds, only getting emails, and then being ghosted after expressing continued interest - honestly, I'm kind of glad it didn't work out.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- Walk me through your experience with recruitment efforts.
