Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Syniverse.
Systems Analyst
It's a 3 round process: one technical, one non-technical, and one HR round. You need to have good communication skills, knowledge of Linux, and ITSM to land this role. Also, be ready to talk about new technologies, telecom basics, and salary expectations with HR.
- What are the basics of Linux?
- What is ITIL?
- What is ITSM?
Systems Analyst
The interview process includes an HR call, followed by a technical round, then a manager round. After that, there's an HR discussion and a final round. Most of the questions will be based on your prior experience, discussing about your short and long-term goal. You need to be very clear and genuine, and show them how much you want that job.
- Can you share details about your professional background?
- What are your goals for the near future?
- What are your aspirations for the long term?
Business Analyst
Most interviews are a waste of time because 99.4 percent of the time is spent trying to confirm whatever impression the interviewer formed in the first ten seconds. “Tell me about yourself.” “What is your greatest weakness?” “What is your greatest strength?” Worthless.
- Tell me about yourself.
