The interview process was really straightforward. They asked me about my background working with kids and which age groups I'm most comfortable with. They also wanted to know my motivation for wanting to join their team and what personal attributes I possess that would make me a good fit for the role.

They found my application on Indeed and I went in the first day. First, I did a paper CNA exam. It wasn't to see if I passed but rather to get a feel of my common sense as a care giver and they go over the answers with you later. Then, I filled out another very lengthy application, and filled out client preferences (like if I can work with smokers or people with cats). After that, I was ushered into the back room for an interview. The questions were very concise, no BS. She said she liked the answers I gave very much and we walked to the next room to find out the next orientation date which happened to be two days later. Orientation: In the morning I was a little bit concerned about taking a urine test for drugs because I had taken a trip to California in the spring and had...well, a good time with some of their legal greenery. There is no urine test. Instead they made me do an oral exam where I sucked on a sponge; this method is good to test marijuana use for A FEW DAYS PRIOR which means I was in the clear. During orientation, the pleasant woman that interviewed me told us more about the job, gave us packets and packets of information, and when we were finished invited us one by one into her office for short term scheduling. I was scheduled to work two days later. Altogether a pleasant experience.

I applied on Indeed and got a call the same day. They invited me for an interview the next day. They asked me to bring my credentials. When I arrived, the GM gave me an application to fill out, and we went over it during the interview. He had a list of questions. They didn't seem to care about my resume or recommendation letter, even though I brought them. My answers to the questions and the application were enough for them to hire me. After that, I filled out a background check, and once that was cleared, they said they'd call me in a couple of days to start working.

The interview was a two step process. First, the scheduling staff introduced the various shift methods. Then, the operations manager asked for some basic information. The whole thing took more than an hour, but the owner was able to meet with me and help outline my weekly schedule that same day.
