First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Synectics.
Software Developer
It was good. Before the main interview, a pen and paper test was taken. Then there was a self-introduction, and a question about willingness to travel long distances. Overall, the interviewer was friendly.
- Questions about core Java, DSA, and OOPS concepts were asked.
Recruiter
It was a quick 30-minute interview where they asked about my background and then talked about the opportunity. We met in their conference room, and the office was nicely decorated with quiet, private cubicles. I got the job offer the next day.
- What is your recruiting experience duration?
Administrative Assistant
Synectics contacted me about a role via CareerBuilder. They then sent my resume to the company for review. If the company liked my resume, they would let Synectics know. Synectics then set up a phone interview for me with the company. The company needed someone immediately, so a week later, I was offered the job. Since I live in MN and Synectics is in Chicago, I had to mail all the HR paperwork back before my start date.
- What is your proficiency level with Microsoft Office?
Environmental Scientist
The interview process started with a phone call from HR. After that, I had to take an IQ test and a typing test. I got an email saying I made it to the next step. Then, I had an interview over Zoom with a manager and HR. The final interview was with the founders. I got the offer soon after that. The entire thing took about two months.
- Can you describe your experience with hold times?
