I applied directly in April 2025. Then, the HRBP reached out in June 2025 and I had an interview with them that same month. The job listing disappeared from the job board shortly after, and although the HRBP never told me it was no longer available, I did get a standard rejection email.

The interview process was quite simple. My recruiter was very communicative and kept me updated as they said they would. I found the interview to be tough mainly because I had to talk to so many people.

It was a really good interview experience with HR, the hiring manager, and the team. I've interviewed in a lot of different places, and Syndax really had their interview process and procedures down pat. I got more and more excited about the company as we went through the interviews.

The hiring process took around 40 days. It included seven interviews over three weeks: an initial HR screener, a chat with the hiring manager, two panel interviews, and then three more one-on-one chats with different people. There weren't any presentations or deep scientific talks. Even though it took a lot of time, the HR team kept in good touch throughout.
