& Process

The overall experience was good. There were about 3 to 4 rounds. The first round was an OA with aptitude, verbal, and technical questions, mainly covering CN and DBMS, plus two coding questions (one SQL, one Java). I'd suggest preparing for SQL and Databases for this round. The second round was one of two technical rounds where most questions were about my resume projects and some basic coding. They also went deep into CI/CD pipelines and other backend topics.

The entire interview process was conducted offline as part of an on-campus drive by Syncron. It started with one assessment, followed by two technical rounds, and then a managerial and HR round. The last three stages took place at the Syncron office. Overall, the experience was very positive, and the people at Syncron were great - very kind, friendly, and understanding. Basic questions about yourself and your background are standard. Some technical questions will be asked based on the role and technologies listed on your resume and previous internships. It's a great company to work for.

The interview process with Syncron started well, with engaging initial rounds that gave a good sense of the role and team culture. I had thoughtful conversations with the hiring manager and design leadership, and it all felt well-organized until the final round. The last round was meant to be a whiteboarding session with the design team. Unfortunately, a power outage on my end disconnected the meeting midway. I followed up right away and was told a rescheduled session would be set up because the team was busy then. However, despite following up several times over the next few weeks, I never heard back. There was no feedback or even a message to close things out. It was disappointing for the process to end this way, especially after putting in time and effort across several stages. I still value the initial talks and the professionalism from the earlier rounds. I hope the company improves communication for these situations.

There were three rounds in total. The first round was about basic DSA and OS questions, along with OOPS concepts. I was asked to write OOPS code in Python, specifically covering mergesort and linkedlist. The second round focused on my resume and projects, with some puzzles and OOPS concepts. They asked about the total number of squares in chess and a real-life scenario for binary search. The third round delved into AIML and OS commands, relating them to my projects and the job description.
