Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Synchronoss.
Business Analyst
So you'll mostly go through 3 rounds of interviews. First, an internal techno-managerial one with someone from the offshore team. Then, a technical interview with the onshore product owner. Finally, an HR round for salary talks and stuff. You'll mostly find out if you're getting hired after the second round.
- Why are you interested in this role at our company?
Business Analyst
The interview was short and to the point, and the interviewers were polite and not too inquisitive. They started with general questions to understand me better, then moved on to very specific technical questions to see if I was a good fit for the role. It's funny though, those interviewers aren't with the company anymore – one left on their own, and the other was made redundant.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- We have some technical questions to gauge your fit for this role.
- Tell me about yourself.
Business Analyst
First round was a written aptitude test with 7 questions. Second round was a technical and managerial round where they asked about my previous experience and contribution to the project, plus one scenario-based question.
- Tell me about your aptitude.
- Can you describe your previous experience and contributions to the project?
- How would you handle this specific scenario?
