The process involved two main parts. First, a brief chat with the hiring agency. If successful, the next step was an in-person session lasting about 4 hours. This included a technical part that felt like a set of games, starting with a group coding activity, followed by an exercise where a group of 5 split into smaller teams for different tasks. There was also a one-on-one chat with a software engineer, which was more of a discussion.

First, there was a brief chat with HR. Then, the main event was three technical interviews packed into one day, lasting about 3-4 hours total. The first round involved two engineers, a whiteboard session on reversing a string, and questions about I2C and SPI protocols. The second round, also with two engineers, focused on reversing a linked list on the whiteboard and designing a game. Finally, the last round was with the manager, who asked about designing an elevator's state machine and C++ class design.

Coding Technical

It was a full-day thing. Started with a coding test, then had three technical rounds. HR wasn't involved because they didn't have HR in Bangalore at the time. In the final round, a senior manager mentioned salary couldn't be matched, which should have been decided before the interview. It felt like a waste of a day. At least they gave us lunch!

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • There were many bit-wise operation questions, including one to swap even and odd numbers with different polarity.
  • Design a full temperature control system with coding.
  • Write the server and client code for the system.
