Behavioral Presentation

I had a first and second interview with Synaptic and it was suspicious how quickly they were getting me through the process. The interviews involved more of them talking about the company and role than asking me questions. So I did some research and found out the role is just being a salesperson in AT&T stores, and they promise growing into a director position but it's a scam. They are deceitful in their wording of the job description and the way they present the role.

The interview process involved two rounds. The first round was with the hiring manager, where they wanted to get to know me and give a quick overview of the role. The second interview was with someone currently in the Business Management Trainee role, and it focused on the day-to-day activities, the training program, and more detailed questions about my background and leadership approach. I had all my questions answered during and after the interviews.

They were responsive at first, but after the initial interview, they went silent and didn't follow up as promised to let me know if they were moving forward. Also, the pay was different than advertised. They listed $50K - $60K per year, but during the interview, they said it would be $700-$800 weekly during training, then $70K after. It felt like a total setup.

This is a 3 step interview process and it is very detailed and well structured. For your first interview it is a simple phone call just sharing about the person you are, then it is a zoom interview and lastly it is a second zoom interview where more details about the job and the pay are touched up on. The last step would be receiving a phone call from the company notifying you whether/ or not you got the job.
