The interview process was really quick and to the point. They were super clear about the vision for the role. After the second interview, they made an offer and we talked a lot about the start date so I could give enough notice at my old job.

This company's hiring process is questionable. I got an interview request, but had to reschedule due to a family emergency. The day before the rescheduled interview, they canceled, stating they were putting the position on hold. However, I saw the job reposted on LinkedIn and their website shortly after. I followed up asking for feedback and other suitable roles, but was ignored. I sent another follow-up a week later and was still ghosted. It would have been respectful to at least inform me if my application wasn't suitable, if they chose someone else, or if they never intended to fill the role. Be wary, as this might be a fake job posting.

I had a recruiter screen that was fine, although my recruiter was a little late and I wish I had received an email beforehand. We had a 30-minute chat. At the end of the call, they discussed salary, which was very low for what the job description entailed and my experience. I asked if there was room for negotiation, and they said they would check and get back to me. I told them I was still interested either way, and I received a rejection email the next day. When I asked for feedback, I never heard back.

First, there was a 30-minute HR interview, which was pretty straightforward. A couple of days later, I got an email with a very specific tech assignment: take a piece of trash one-file .Net program and turn it into a production-ready application with unit tests in .Net 6. It took me a couple of nights to finish. Then, I had a run-of-the-mill tech question interview with two directors. They asked some questions about discipline and dealing with people. Really run-of-the-mill stuff. They ended up going with someone more aligned with them. However, the job was reposted. Due to the specificity of the assignment being production-ready and the reposting of the position, I suspect this employer might be using tech tests for free labor.
