First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SymphonyAI.
Office Manager
I went through four interview stages with SymphonyAI, including a final in-person interview at their office where I met several members of the team and was given a tour. The interview process itself was lengthy and unfortunately quite disorganised. I had to chase HR multiple times just to confirm basic details such as the interview time and even the office address shortly before the meeting. At the end of the final interview I was told I would hear back by the Friday of that week. It has now been more than three weeks and I have received no update at all. I also sent a follow-up email asking for an outcome but did not receive a response. During the interview process we even discussed the company’s relatively low Glassdoor rating. Unfortunately my own experience of the recruitment process reflected many of the concerns raised in those reviews. Regardless of the outcome, candidates who invest the time to complete four interview stages deserve a clear response and basic professional courtesy.

Technical Architect
So I interviewed for a technical role at SymphonyAI. The first round was super professional and well done. The second round also went well, with good technical talks. But the last round was weird. Instead of more tech stuff or talking about team fit, they just asked about my salary expectations. After I told them, the conversation just ended, and I got told I wasn't moving on. It felt off, you know? Salary talk is usually HR's thing, not the main part of a technical interview. There wasn't any more technical discussion after I gave my salary numbers. It's a bummer when technical interviews get sidetracked by these kinds of questions, especially after passing a few rounds. Hopefully SymphonyAI figures out a better way to handle salary discussions so interviews stay focused on actual skills and fit.
- Could you please write a couple of C# programs on TestDome?
Software Engineer
Got a call from HR, and the whole process took only 1 week. There were 2 technical rounds, 1 HR Round, and 1 F2F HR Round. They told me I was selected and collected documents. After all these rounds, they left me hanging for about 2 weeks. Then they said the CEO is reevaluating the use of roles and freezing the hiring process. I never added reviews because I understand things happen, but I saw 1 more review with a similar story, so I shared my experience. In the end, this is not very professional behaviour, and they should respect the time and energy put in by candidates.
- Can you write the Fibonacci sequence code in any language you prefer?
AI Intern
I went through two rounds of technical interviews. The first round was with the team lead. He asked basic questions on AI/ML, mostly based on my projects. The second round was tougher with two interviewers. They also started with questions from my projects and then asked about every ML algorithm. The questions were tough and designed to confuse, so be ready. Make sure your basic concepts are clear, and you should be fine.
- Could you define Precision and Recall and explain their differences, including their formulas?
- What strategies can be employed to manage datasets that are not balanced?
- Can you describe LSTM and its various gates?
