First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Symphony Teleca.
Product Engineer
I received a call from HR and the interview was scheduled for the very next day. There were two main rounds. The first was a technical one, lasting about an hour. The second was a managerial round with basic questions. After that, I was told to go home. The day after, HR called me in to discuss the package and other HR matters. This was essentially the HR round, where I had to fill out a lot of forms. Two days later, I got the offer letter. The whole process was very quick. Once I joined, I was immediately assigned to a project the next day, which was great compared to other companies where you might be put on the bench or have more client interviews. I got my laptop and desk on the second day. The process was really fast.
- Questions about software testing topics were asked.
Senior Product Engineer
The hiring process was smooth and didn't involve too many interviews, just a technical and a management round. The questions asked were quite tricky. The HR team was friendly and helpful. I received timely feedback on the interview, and the offer was extended very quickly, within two working days. The interviewer was technically very knowledgeable, and the hiring manager was up-to-date with project developments.
- Some questions were tricky, involving on-the-spot algorithms and pseudocode. Several questions were new to me.
- A few questions were quite tricky, asking for on-the-spot algorithms and pseudo codes, and some were unlike anything I had encountered before.
Product Engineer
The whole process took about two weeks from setting up the interview to receiving the offer. It wasn't too difficult and seemed to depend on the specific project or GOC you're applying for. There's no probation period; new hires are considered permanent employees right from the start.
- What were the typical interview questions?
