First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Symphony Talent.
Software Engineer
First was a technical round with an amateur panel, not very technically strong. Some questions they only knew one answer. Managerial discussion was purely behavioral. HR round asked about joining time and salary negotiations, as they lack projects and budget. Dropped the offer because the package wasn't as promised and they lacked strong technical people, meaning no career growth. Also had a better offer.
- Questions are totally based on your skillsets, but answers are totally based on the interviewer as they are not technically challenged.
Software Developer
The interview process involved four rounds. First, you had to solve a problem statement using abstract code. Second, they reviewed your solution and asked some basic JAVA core questions. Third, they asked technical questions and questions about your personal project. Fourth was a core values round to get to know your personality.
- Questions about Java Core
- Questions about Problem Solving
Senior Software Engineer
So, the interview was split into a few parts. First, there was a DSA round where they threw some medium leetcode questions at me. Then, we moved onto a design round, specifically about a filesystem. Finally, there was a techno managerial round with the hiring manager. All the rounds felt like medium difficulty.
- Did you solve any medium LeetCode questions during the DSA round?
- Can you discuss your design approach for a filesystem?
- Tell me about your experience in a techno-managerial capacity.
