The interview process was straightforward, involving a single meeting with the center's director. It lasted about 15-20 minutes and focused on my past experiences dealing with various situations. The employer wanted to assess my knowledge and confidence.

So I applied and then had two phone interviews with the owner. After that, I had an in-person interview. Then there was another interview with a different manager. The owner was really nice, but the manager I'd be working with seemed really self-centered, mostly talking about her own experience and degree instead of seeing if we'd be a good fit. I think she might have left or the ownership changed since then, but I'm not totally sure.

I applied for a part-time tutor position while already working full-time. Initially, I was told I lacked sufficient teaching experience to be qualified, but they decided to interview me anyway. They emphasized that since they were taking a chance on me, I needed to show commitment. During the interview, I was asked if I would be willing to pick up the phone if asked to work a shift I wasn't scheduled for. I agreed, and immediately after leaving, they called to check my reliability by seeing if I would answer my phone.

I interviewed with the local Executive Director, then with the Center Director (franchise owner). Both were friendly, but it didn't seem like we were on the same page regarding job expectations. The CD gave off a vibe of disrespect towards his employees. This was clearer when we discussed ghosting. I mentioned it's an issue for us job seekers too. The CD said, "My employees do exactly what I tell them, you will hear back if you get the job or not, next week."..... Then I was ghosted.
