Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Syfter.
Senior Technical Recruiter
The interview process was straightforward. It involved calls/video calls with leadership. The whole experience was very conversational, and it didn't feel like an interrogation. I found everyone to be very open about the process, and I felt comfortable reaching out to anyone whenever needed.
- What are you seeking in your next role?
- What motivates you?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
Technical Recruiter
I applied on LinkedIn through a promoted job posting. Their CEO reached out the next day and I had my first phone screening within a few days. This led to a 2-hour in-person interview where I met the partners and staff two days later. I had 4 interviews during this 2-hour meeting. The first 3 were with executives and the last one was with the technical recruiters. It was a relaxed and pleasant encounter. Everyone had admirable qualities and was open to questions. It felt like a detailed conversation.
- What are your career goals for the next three years?
- What are your expectations for this role?
Technical Recruiter
A Director reached out to me for an interview. I had a phone call with them, then spoke with the CEO, Steve Perlman, over the phone. After that, I came in for an in-person interview where I met with four people one-on-one. Then, I got to hang out with the rest of the team in a more casual setting. I got the offer the very next day.
- What kind of roles do you enjoy recruiting for?
- Do you feel winning or losing more?
