The interview was pretty straightforward. They asked easy questions about my experience and education. They also asked why I was interested in working with their clients, if I had DMH experience, and what populations I've worked with. Finally, they asked how I found out about the company.

I applied on their website, and also dropped off my resume at a job fair about a month before. I went in for an interview expecting to meet with four people, but the person who originally contacted me wasn't there. The interview lasted about 40 minutes, and I felt good about it, whether or not I get the job.

There were two interviews. The first was with HR and the second was with the site where you would be working. The HR person was very friendly. The in-person interview focused on your clinical skills, asking about your strengths and weaknesses, how you would handle crisis situations, and how you approach working with young people in creative ways.

I interviewed with HR and then the director. There was a personality test, drug screening, and salary negotiation, including a sign-on bonus. I accepted the job offer three days later. The process was easy, and everyone was friendly. No difficult questions or tests were involved, just a straightforward experience.
