First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Switchfast Technologies.
Systems Engineer
I had a phone interview and then an onsite interview that included a skills test and a tour. They were flexible with my schedule for the onsite, which was nice. However, during the onsite, I didn't really get to talk to anyone technical, probably because it was at the end of the day to accommodate me. The phone and onsite interviews themselves were pleasant. The bad part of the process was the lack of communication afterwards. They said they'd let me know their decision, whatever it was. Four weeks later, after following up twice, I finally heard they weren't moving forward with me. It felt like they dragged their feet. So, while the interview itself was okay, the ending really soured the experience. I don't think this is their usual way of doing things, but it's my experience. Hope others have a better outcome.

Intake Technician
I applied online and got a call within a week from HR for an initial phone screen. After that, I was called in for an in-office interview. They gave me a technical assessment that took about an hour and included a broad range of problems. I felt the assessment was too general for the specific role and wasn't tailored to the Intake Technician position. After the assessment, I met with two HR members to discuss my background and experience. The final interview was with the managers for the Intake Technician role, and we discussed my technical background and specifics of the job like daily tasks and work-life balance. About 3 days after the final interview, I received an email stating I didn't get the position. I asked for feedback via email, but received a vague response about organizational needs and factors considered for the role.
- Can you describe the most challenging technical problem you've solved independently?
Software Engineer
First the CTO called and we talked about my resume, then I was invited for a 1:1 interview where I was told I'd find out if I would be hired.

IT Support
I had a call screening first, then I went in person for an interview with HR, and after that, I had a phone interview with the Team Leader. The in person one was the longest, and it had a written test.
- There was a written test covering technical questions of varying difficulty.
- The test was designed to help figure out the most fitting role for me.
