Project Manager Intern
The process was automated using the HireVue platform. It took about 15 minutes total and included 3 questions. For each question, you had a maximum of 2 minutes to answer and were allowed 2 attempts, with 60 seconds to think about it.
- Can you explain the role of the iptiQ Transformation Office and your understanding of this internship?
- Could you describe the responsibilities of the iptiQ Transformation Office and what you perceive this traineeship to entail?
Project Manager
I had a 30-minute phone screening, then I went to Zurich for a face-to-face interview on my day off because Basel was a public holiday. The receptionist was very rude. In the interview, it was the hiring manager and someone online from the UK. They asked me standard questions. When I stated my salary expectation, which I know is appropriate because I work in HR in Switzerland, they cut the meeting short. They asked if I had questions and dismissed me after 45 minutes. A few days later, I got an automated rejection. I emailed the recruiter and she apologized and said an HR business partner would give me feedback. I'm still waiting for that feedback years later.
- Tell me about yourself and your experience.
- Do you have any technical skills or knowledge relevant to this role?
- What is your desired salary range?
Project Manager
The interview experience was fun and friendly, with a few standard soft skills questions. However, the HR side of things was a bit disorganized, as I wasn't sure exactly which of the three mentioned positions I was interviewing for.
- What makes you want to join this company?
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
- What are your strongest attributes?
