The interview process was really structured and professional, focusing on my delivery management skills. The panel was friendly, and they seemed to care a lot about collaboration, adaptability, and making sure I'd be a good cultural fit within Swiss Re’s global environment.

This was a complete waste of time, which unfortunately seems common. The hiring manager and others liked me, but one person was negative and accusatory. She demanded to know how to turn her business around when I was sharing specific achievements. She also got upset when I said I'd consider an offer seriously if made, given I had another offer, and asked why I'd be willing to consider if not yet offered. She then seemed to look for reasons to reject me. It was a nasty, awful experience and a complete waste of time. I don't recommend it; they waste candidate time and aren't serious about hiring talented people.

After your resume is selected, Swiss Re requires you to self-interview. They use HireVue for this, where you record yourself answering questions. It feels like Swiss Re thinks their time is more important than the candidate's, as their managers and recruiters are too busy for face-to-face time. This makes me think they don't value their employees and see them as disposable. The self-interview step was a bad experience, and the recruiter didn't seem to care when I said I was uncomfortable with it.
