Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Swiss Re.
Business Analyst
You start by sending in your application online, like on the Swiss Re website or whatever. Then, if they like it, HR calls you for a chat to see if you're a good fit, asking about you and why you want to work here. After that, you might have to do some online tests, like brain teasers or skill checks. Next up is an interview with the hiring manager, focusing on your skills and how you've done stuff before, maybe with a case study too. The round after that could be a panel interview with bosses or maybe some group activities and role-playing. Lastly, you'll probably talk to some big wigs to see if you're a good culture fit and what your future plans are.

Business Analyst
The interview process had 3 steps in total. It started with an HR screening, then an interview with a key manager who is an expert BA, and then an interview with the manager of the department. The first 15 minutes were with HR, followed by a 45-minute session with the key manager. I'm currently waiting for feedback on the next step. All the interviewers were nice and asked questions that weren't too complicated.
- Can you describe your current role?
- What tools are part of your current toolkit?
- What is your motivation for joining Swiss Re?
Business Analyst
I had three interviews, all went well. HR was responsive to my emails, until the last one when I didn't get the job. No one informed me, nor wrote to me. I had to contact HR myself and instead of receiving an answer, I was just notified through their website. Otherwise, I thought it was alright.
