The recruitment process in Bangalore took months. There was no clarity on the role, and interviewers gave conflicting information, suggesting a lack of coordination between the India and Zurich teams. The Talent Acquisition team seemed unprepared. Travel reimbursements for outstation candidates, promised within 15 days, took two months and multiple follow-ups to be processed. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and disappointing.

There were totally 4 rounds. 1 telephonic interview and 3 rounds of face to face interview. The interviews were neatly structured. The telephonic interview lasted for 40 minutes. Basic questions about myself, my educational and professional background were asked. I had to convince the interviewer for the question "Why Swiss Re? Why switch to reinsurance from insurance?". The first two rounds of face to face interview were technical, which was more like an extended and detailed version of the telephonic interview, where they tested whether I have the skills and techniques that are required by the organisation. The third round was an usual HR round.

Behavioral Technical Presentation
Two on site interviews happened at Swiss Re in Adliswil. The first one was with the Team leader and a team member. It felt really relaxed and nice, and it was a good opportunity to get a feel for the team. Questions were about past experiences and some general topics. The second interview was with an hr recruiter and then a panel of department leaders, team leaders, and team members. It began with the hr recruiter interview, and I felt the way people interact at Swiss Re is very comfortable and friendly. The questions were mostly general but focused on the job and the company. Afterwards, there was a presentation and Q&A for an hour in front of the panel. It was really fun. The questions can be technical and challenging. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I feel the culture at Swiss Re is truly what I enjoy.
