Technical Coding

I saw some negative reviews, but my experience was good. The recruiter was helpful and communicative. The process had 4 stages: first, a recruiter screening call, then a take-home assignment, followed by an interview with the Director, and finally an interview with the hiring manager.

Recruiter reached out, had me do the same thing everyone else is posting about, predicting the next pitch from an MLB data set. I built a top notch jupyter notebook, then after, came here and saw that no one makes it past this stage. Made me regret putting in 8 hours of solid work into this notebook. The recruiter reaches out, says they are moving on with other candidates. Im fairly sure that they are just idea farming. Regardless the company is extremely disrespectful towards others time as they ask you to do a test and move on with pretty much no one. Don't waste your time on the test.

Technical Behavioral Coding Case

It started with a phone screen, then a behavioral interview with a team member that included some light technical questions. After that, there was a take-home assignment. The final stage was a meeting with the hiring manager and a team member to review the assignment and answer several technical questions.

  • Could you discuss questions regarding regression and collinearity?
  • Regarding the take-home assignment, what was your approach, what other methods could you have used, and what would be your next steps?
