It was a thorough, well-organized process that respected my time. The panel seemed prepared. It wasn't overly long. They expect you to know your numbers and be ready to talk about past work successes and what you learned. I got fast and useful feedback.

I had a three-day interview process with several people, and they were really interested until a better candidate came along. The people were nice, respected my time, and the culture seemed friendly. My main contact kept in touch throughout.

Recruiting firms really make you wonder why they have a bad reputation. It’s because of firms like this one, with their ghosting, lack of responsiveness, no feedback, and only surface level info on the clients they represent. It's beyond me why companies hire these firms, as they don't seem to understand that the recruiting firm is a representation of their company. When they create a bad candidate experience, that sentiment is by extension bestowed upon the client organization. AI can't render this industry obsolete soon enough.

Worst candidate experience ever, have a very negative image of Udemy for using such an unprofessional, disorganized, non-communicative recruiting partner. Contacted on a Saturday a.m. for available times the coming week. Provided quick and detailed response and cleared my schedule during those dates/times. Crickets! Responded again at the end of the week. No response. After reaching out to 2 others at Swing, I was finally contacted after escalating due to 10 days of non response. I then provided dates/times and cleared my schedule again. Ghosted again. I get an e-mail on a Friday night saying wires got crossed. Had phone interview the following Monday. Went well enough and felt the role was an excellent mutual fit. Sent e-mail to check on status 5 days later. Crickets again. I have never written a review related to an interview process, but having led my own TA teams, this experience was embarrassingly poor and almost felt like I was being pranked. I am fine if a company doesn't feel things are a good fit. It happens...but when you are contacted, follow requested steps exactly as stipulated, and then had to contact them multiple times to even get my initial interview set up. I have already mentioned this experience with Swing to my peers and my friends at Angel.co. Honestly, it was only made worse due to really wanting to work with Udemy and experiencing such a complete fail as it relates to the candidate experience.
