I had a virtual meeting with the recruiter and then the hiring manager. After meeting the hiring manager, I was ghosted and didn't get any updates even after reaching out to both of them. It seemed like the job would involve a lot of work and not much work-life balance.

Had a great interview where I was told I had everything they were looking for. At the end of the interview I was told that I was going to be onboarded and to wait for an email with more information... and to give a response as to whether I was interested by the end of the week. I never received an email or a response to my two follow up emails. After searching for a job for 4 months, this was extremely discouraging for me. Why would anyone want to work for a company that doesn't even do the kindness of letting you know they've changed their mind?

So, to apply for this job, I had to upload a video talking about why I wanted to work there. Honestly, it feels like a pretty shady way to screen people out, and I'm not a fan. It's 2021, and this just seems wrong.
